Dylan was born and raised here in Concord, NC. Upon graduating law school, he felt a calling to return home to serve his home community at Hartsell & Williams.
Growing up, most of Dylan’s family worked in medicine. He quickly realized he shared a similar passion for helping those in need at critical points in their lives, but wanted to carve his own path. Wanting to combine this desire to help others with his sense of justice, Dylan decided to pursue the practice of law.
For his undergraduate education, Dylan attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he studied Biology and Computer Science. He enjoyed the logical component of genetics and worked at the UNC Matera lab where he researched intragenic complementation in Spinal Muscular Atrophy.
Subsequently, Dylan attended the University of Georgia School of Law, where he was honored to receive the John A. Sibley full-ride scholarship. At law school, Dylan sharpened his legal writing, reading, and reasoning skills as an editor on the Georgia Law Review. After graduating, Dylan returned home, passed the North Carolina Bar Exam, and began working at Hartsell & Williams.
Dylan’s practice area mostly focuses on civil litigation, including real property litigation, intellectual property, business litigation, HOA litigation, personal injury, and appellate litigation.
When he is not working, Dylan enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, backpacking the Appalachian Trail, swimming, snowboarding, and sailing.
