Elizabeth Baker Brown
Elizabeth is an Associate Attorney and joined the firm in 2015. She offers legal representation in the areas of unemployment benefits law, criminal law, and civil litigation. Elizabeth is motivated by the love of helping people to help themselves. Many times she serves as a legal consultant for individuals who wish to represent themselves in their hearings, but is confident in her ability to represent her clients in the courtroom and resolve their situation in a highly beneficial way.
Originally from Long Island, New York, Elizabeth graduated from SUNY New Paltz with a dual major in Business Marketing and Business Management in 2008 and quickly found herself working in a Manhattan marketing firm preparing proposals for prospective clients.
"My ability to connect with my clients, no matter the situation, is what makes my career so rewarding."
As a motivated worker, she knew that she wanted more out of her professional life, and knew that education was the key to opening up opportunities that would help advance her career. Hailing from a family that consisted of several attorneys, she decided to seek her law degree at the Charlotte School of Law. After graduation, she worked for Legal Services of Southern Piedmont in the consumer protection department.
Elizabeth loves to bake, and enjoys spending time with her fiancé and pets. In her free time, she has also volunteered with Habitat for Humanity - Cabarrus County and the Humane Society of Charlotte.
